Are you diabetic or recently diagnosed? What are things you need to avoid and things you need to take must. Diabetes is a chronic disease. Diabetes is condition when there is no insulin in the body or the insulin produced is low or the cells don't react with insulin. All these cases lead to diabetes. The exact reason for diabetes cause is unknown.

The lists of things people need to avoid are

People with diabetes generally complain about frequent urination, excessive thirst, and numbness in feet.

Diabetes is a condition when there is high amount of glucose in the body.

Diabetes is generally classified into two types. Type 1 or juvenile diabetes, Type 2 or adult onset diabetes. Type 1 diabetes is nowadays more common in young adult or teenagers. In Type 1 diabetes the beta cells of the pancreas stop secreting insulin; this is due to autoimmune system. Type 2 comes due to age. It generally appears to people above 40 years of age. It is due low production of insulin or cells do not react with insulin produced.

Type 1 diabetes has no cure. Only treatment can be given. Insulin shots are to be given daily 4 to 5 times a day as prescribed by the Doctor. Type 1 cause is mainly due to genes or lack of physical activity.

Type 2 diabetes can be controlled by following techniques.

Controlled diet and modifications in lifestyle. The changes in lifestyle include physical activity in daily life. Physical activity includes running, jogging, skipping, and swimming. It may not be necessarily joining a gym.

Another important type is gestational diabetes occurs in women in second half of pregnancy. This diabetes may last up to the delivery if proper medication is taken if not it gets complicated to type 2 diabetes.

If diabetes is ignored in initial stages it lead to serious complications like Poor wound healing, Blurry vision, Heart attacks, and strokes.
